"I had a lovely time at Hox, the meal was interesting, tasty and good quality, every mouthful was a pleasure (it really was). Each plate was beautifully and artistically presented, despite there being so many of us and each order being different. There were fourty of us sat at a long table, everything was clean and nicely set, the napkins crisp and folded into a fan.
The table was set for the occasion as it was an end of show celebration, with a helium baloon and small silver stars and coloured words saying celebration on the table. The cutlery is an art instillation in itself. The staff were brilliant and took all our orders not getting any thing wrong, they were polite and pleasant.
Everybody had a good time and this is in great part due to the staff who worked very hard to get everything for us. The decor in the upstairs room we were in was lovely with beautiful coloured ambient lighting a good feeling of space,and a wall on one side made of glass with water bubbles and blue light through it.
There was a small dance floor at one end and after our meal we all got up and danced. There was a great atmosphere and we danced to the music we wanted through a clear sound system. We danced Tango, Bollywood, street dance, salsa...The atmosphere was very relaxed and everyone left happy.
The bills were settled individually (our choice) and everything was worked out clearly and efficiently. ( I must note that we were celebrating a dance show, hence all the different dances). We all left the restaurant in a great mood, and I had a really wonderful time.
